The Ballet Bodhi is a performing dance company with an enlightening approach to traditional ballet and other important dance styles that collaborate with ballet training. The benefits of ballet skills and dance performance are entwined throughout The Ballet Bodhi with a deep focus on self and body awareness, ballet technique, improvisation, Lyrical, Theater Dance, Contemporary, Jazz, other cultural dance and Pilates principles. From the moment students begin, the space is our stage. Life Skills. Stage Thrills. Class and Rehearsal commitment are Monday and Wednesdays 4:30-6 pm beginning August 21st.
FALL OFFERINGS
Boogie Bugs N' Fairy Tails-WAITLIST ONLY
Ages 3-5 (prek-Kindergarten)
No dance experience necessary. Potty trained.
This performance style class is a 45 minute creative movement experience that teaches ballet technique with a more creative and playful approach, using story and expression to find self awareness, confidence and the skills it takes to BE a Boogie Bug. Class will include a variety of dance and music styles, with a showcase performance on December 13th and tentatively Spring Concert on April 21st. Each lesson will focus on Ballet, Musical Theater, Jazz and Hip Hop and is designed for all genders. This class will run all year as 2 separate enrollment sessions. The April dance concert is open to students enrolled in session 2 and is a separate fee.
3:30-4:15 pm MONDAYS WAITLIST ONLY (will open another from waitlist)
Session 1: 12 weeks September 11-December 13th (no class October 9th and November 20th)
$79/monthly with one time yearly registration fee of $35
Suggested dress code: Ballet Shoes, black or pink tights and shirt/leotard, tutu dress, No glitter or feathered costumes, hair pulled off of face.
Technique ONE
Ages 6-9 (1st-3rd grades)
No ballet experience necessary, but helpful. This is a structured class with introduction to improvisation.
Classes will focus on ballet basics for creating and developing a student’s own rhythm, movement, and confidence. They will be introduced to the floor ballet barre as well as traditional ballet barre. Technical skills and more diverse dance styles will be introduced, with some focus on improvisation with these useful skills. Students may participate in the April 21st dance concert at an additional fee.
3:30-4:15 pm Mondays September 11-April 15th
$79/month from August-April with $35 one time yearly registration fee
Dress code: Transition pink tights, Light pink leotard any style, leather skin toned spilt soled ballet shoes, hair pulled back off of face in hair bun(s) or french twist. Can have a separate ballet skirt. See handbook or website for details before purchasing.
Technique TWO
Ages 9-13 (3rd--6th grades)
2 years dance experience, or previous private lessons.
An enlightening approach to traditional ballet with more focus on mental, physical and performing strengths. Students will increase their knowledge, skills and strengths this year with more attention to proper placement in the body, extension of the legs, shaping of the feet and upper body positions. Memorization and repetition will be emphasized with more challenging classroom sequences and skills. Students will participate in the April 21st dance concert for an additional fee.
4:15-5:15 pm Mondays
$79/month from September 11-April 15th with $35 one time yearly registration fee

Jazz Technique
Ages 7-11 (2nd-5th grades, some exceptions)
Some dance experience is helpful.
This stylized dance class will teach the fundamentals of Jazz technique, focusing on isolations, transitions, turns, balance, jumping skills and dance combinations that will be learned throughout the year. The April dance concert is an additional fee.

MY Story MOVES
This movement based theatrical class will teach students various improvisational skills, and how to create stories with their bodies, props and costumes. Theater skills provide a foundation for confidence while cultivating a student's own voice, rhythm, movement and imagination. Holiday showcase is on Wednesday December 13th at 5pm!

Boys Dance Club
Ages 8-13 (3th-8th grade)
No dance experience necessary.
This is an all level class.
Learn a hip hop structured class that is sure to condition and work you out! Each week, students will progress with a warm up and set dance routine while finding more body awareness, rhythm, coordination, and stage presence for an informal performance on December 13th! Injury prevention for sports will be a focus.

CANCELLATION POLICY for single classes or packages: I understand that if I must cancel a scheduled appointment, I must notify IN ALLiance Movement, LLC or Maya Pingle, at least 24- hours in advance or I will be held responsible for payment in full, when applicable. There are no refunds, but you may exchange for another class with more than 24 hours of the service. You may also notify Maya Pingle and transfer your credit towards another person within the month of the paid service, with more than 24 hours notice.
CANCELLATION POLICY for Children's programming: I understand that I am committing through April 2023, with the potential of the yearly spring concert in April and can cancel with 30 days emailed advanced notice after December 1st, but will not be refunded my registration/supply/Concert fee that is due at the time of registration.
This dance program is a performance style dance class for children 2-5 years old! Each lesson will focus on Ballet basics and expose children to Ballet, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Hip Hop styles. Boogie Bugs N’ Fairy Tails is fun for boys and girls.
This ballet performing program is an enlightening approach to classical ballet with a contemporary and lyrical focus, and special attention to body awareness and the importance of good dance benefits, and that no one size fits all. Encouraging confidence, creative freedom, individuality, courage and beauty from within, your child will have fun while getting experienced instruction. Each child will learn: a set ballet floor barre/Pilates conditioning, age and level appropriate ballet barre technique, ballet centre, contemporary style dances, classical ballet dances, to create their own rhythm with improvisation, to choreograph, and get personalized coaching while having FUN!
Students perform throughout the community.
This is a movement class that jump starts the brain, body and spirit. It is a dance class format with improvisation and choreography creations by the students.
The class is related to the day’s tasks and gets the kids ready for a day of learning by getting their blood pumping and brains thinking. This class includes jazz technique, upbeat hip -hop style and freestyle dance, as well as learned dances to perform that day.

80's Ladies! Lets break out the leg warmers and big hair! It's time to bust some classic 80's dance moves and get your workout ON!
Join dance instructor and choreographer Maya Pingle Trinen for fun combos, strength training, core, stretch, and LAUGHS, in an easy to learn (but let's face it, you already know the moves!) 80's fitness class! You will sweat (waterproof colorful eye shadows/ liquid liner please!) and rewarded with a prom toast at the end of your accomplishment.
So Let's Go Crazy! And remember- We Can Dance If We Want To because Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner! Let's Get Physical and raise money for our kids school!

Pilates for Kids! will teach the ABC’s of Pilates fundamentals in this playful approach to the traditionally structured Joseph Pilates Mat work.
Students will progress and apply the Pilates principles of: Breath, Centering, Coordination, Control, Precision, Flow, Rhythm, and Balance.
Kids will learn useful ways to utilize this method of uniform development in their sports, playtime and school!
Using imagery, creativity, music and transitional creations, Pilates exercises have never been more fun and powerful for young bodies to learn and change patterns in their body and mind in a positive and supportive way.
Each class will consist of centering work, alignment, stretching and core strengthening with support of resistance props.
Students will partner each other for balance and strength, and create movement to flow their exercises from one to the other.
Showcase of their hard work will be presented at the end of the 10 week session.
Wear comfortable clothes without metal, buttons, zippers that may hinder movement. Bare feet or socks will be best and please bring a mat.
9 am-10 am Sundays.
Pilates is a system of movement and exercise that utilize every muscle, allowing uniform development of all muscles for a healthy and strong body, mind, and spirit. This traditional all levels Pilates Mat workout, will spend special attention to starting your day off right with breathe, stretch, align and tone- then get deep into your core and let you work up a sweat!
Pilates is a system of movement that utilizes the entire body to find physical and mental balance through the Joseph Pilates apparatus and principles. Each session is geared towards the individual's needs and challenges. Private and Duet sessions are 55 minutes and done by appointment only. Please contact Maya for locations, and time options.
