Welcome to cultural and community service Opportunities

See 2 specific MS/HS options for MDP Collective. This includes:  workshops, regular class, volunteering and performing. Note:The  Middle School and HIgh School programs are separate and listed dates and times are below. 


Also check out the Guild for Teens through Denver Ballet Guild! Both performing companies (and workshop students!) are highly encouraged to join as sessions will be inspired by the shows seen this year. 

Denver Ballet Guild /Guild for teens

cultural and community service opportunities

for the Middle School student

Here are opportunities for Middle Schoolers to get involved with the Arts, self awareness, new friends and volunteering.

option #1: Audience participation-the guild for teens

Since 2005, the Denver Ballet Guild has offered an engaging program that allows middle and high school students to attend professional plays, musicals, and dance performances throughout the Denver area. Students not only experience top-rated performances but also build friendships with peers from their own and other schools who share a passion for the arts.

Guild for teens PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

$325 plus $100 per family

Program Highlights:

  • All performances are held on Sundays, allowing students to balance busy school schedules.
  • There are 5 performances included in the 2025-26 package, with 3 optional additional performances. 
  • Every event is fully chaperoned—parents simply drop off & pick up.
  • Families pay $100 to join the Guild, and $325 per student to register for the core program.

option #2: Movement participation- mdp workshops

For all levels and experience~ Take a chance and get out of your seat to try out some of the moves, scenery, costumes that you've seen before or with the performances included in the Guild for Teens! Those who fill out the form will help set the workshop season! All sessions will be held at Aspen Academy unless noted. 

Workshop Program highlights

$50 a workshop or $200 for 5

  • Monday and Wednesday workshops from 5:00pm- 6:30pm: 8/27, 9/10, 11/17, 2/2, 3/4
  •  Learn a new style or interest during each workshop.
  • Workshops will be set from the interest in the form below!
  • Join with friends of all levels.
  • Guest teachers will join Ms. Pingle for specific workshops. 
  • Registration will occur after August 15th when the workshops are set.
  • Great option WITH The Guild for Teens to correlate with shows.

option #3: performing & volunteering - the ballet bodhi rising

The Ballet Bodhi was established to create an opportunity to the highly practiced art with less time commitment and positive benefits of traditional dance. Dancers explore Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, World dance and Improvisation while reflecting on self, creating stories and themes with voice overs, choreography and community performances. Volunteering and Community are essential in this enlightening experience and movement. 


Perform/ volunteer progam highlights

$280 monthly

  • Students regularly take PrePointe (Mondays 4:15 pm) and Contemporary (Wednesdays 4:15 pm).
  • Students rehearse M and W from 5:15-6 pm. 
  • Workshops 5 times a year and included in their monthly tuition. See time adjustments in Option #2.
  • Students participate 4-6 times a year in program performances and can volunteer on average at 4 hours a month.
  • Students are featured in the Holiday showcase on December 10th and also the April Spring concert April 26th (an additional fee).  

How to get involved in interested in Option #3:

  • Please fill out this form by August 12th to be considered. 
  • Attend the Workshops on August 13th and/or 14th to be considered (email if you are out of town then). 


for the High school student

Here are options for High Schoolers to get involved with the Arts, take class, make friends, find new interests, and volunteer.

option #3: performing & volunteering - The Ballet Bodhi emerging

High school students are invited to join The Ballet Bodhi Program, where traditional ballet skills meets Pilates, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and creativity. Whether you're an experienced dancer or brand new to the studio, this program gives you a space to move, express, and grow individually and with friends.

program highlights:

  • Sunday class 2x a month average from 3 pm-5 pm. 
  • Classes in session from September 7th- April 19th. 
  • Sessions vary from Option #2 workshops (included in this fee) to community shows and projects to learning choreography for performances .
  • Cost TBD by August 15th.
  • Volunteer hours counted as: costuming, backstage help during shows, teaching at assisted living homes, projects at assisted living homes, assisting Ms. Pingle with younger students, offering meaningful free classes to all ages. Flexible hou

  • Please fill out this form  by August 15th if you are interested taking classes, volunteering and/or performing with Emerging!
  • A complimentary class will be offered for those who fill out the form by that date! 
  • You are welcome to commit after the complimentary class tentatively August.
